It takes some time for a bicycle to break in. After you purchase of a new bicycle, you’ll experience a period where the brake and derailleur cables stretch, the spokes stretch, and the bike needs more frequent adjustment than it will later in its life. Once everything is done breaking in, the bike requires less adjustment over time.
We ask all new bike owners to bring their new ride back to the shop after about thirty days. For a “30 day check-up” we will go over all facets of the bicycle that tend to need adjustments after the break-in period. This will insure that your shifting is crisp, brakes are working properly, wheels are true and bolts are properly torqued.
If you haven’t bought a bike from us and just need a tune-up we can help with that too! We service all makes and models !!!!
With most repairs we can have you back on the road within 24 hours!
